England-born Zimbabwean rising star, Kundai Benyu proved his worthy at Aldershot Town by scoring the opening goal in Aldershot Town's 2-nil win away to Macclesfield Town f.c on Saturday 25th March to assure themselves a place in the play-offs.

The 19-year-old midfield genius opened the scoring account in the 59th minute after a neat through pass from Bernard Mensah and emphatically slotted the ball into the bottom right-hand corner of the net to put The Shots ahead.

In the 83rd minute,  Shots striker Matt McClure scored the second goal of the match when he fired home from Gallagher's rebound to seal a 2-nil league victory over Macclesfield.

The Shots have only lost one league match ever since Benyu joined the team in December, putting themselves in a pole position to play in the play-offs for promotion into England's Football League Two.

Kundai Benyu has made 19 appearances, including 17 starts - scored twice and won Player of the Month awards twice at Aldershot Town this season.
