Mapeza Names Warriors Squad To Face Zambia

Warriors Interim head coach, Norman Mapeza announced Zim Squad to face Zambia in an international friendly match on Sunday.
Newly appointed Warriors Caretaker coach Norman Mapeza has announced a 23-man squad comprised of mainly local based players ahead of  international friendly encounter against Zambia on Sunday 26 March 2017 at the National Sports Stadium.

Mapeza, who has been entrusted by the Zimbabwe Football Association body (ZIFA) yesterday to temporarily head the Warriors until a permanent candidate is found, included only two foreign based players in Sunday's encounter against Chipolopolo.

Maritzburg United F.C forward Evans Rusike and Orlando Pirates hitman Tendai Ndoro are the only foreign based players named in the squad.

Players are expected in camp on Thursday 23 March 2017.
