Walter Musona Scored His First Goal For Polokwane City

Zimbabwe and former FC Platinum youngster, Walter Musona scored his first goal for Polokwane City as they beat Africa All Stars 3-1 on Wednesday 8th March to advance to the next stage of Nedbank Cup.

The young brother of Zimbabwe talisman Knowledge Musona scored a beautiful goal 5 minutes after coming in as a substitute in the 81st minutes with a cool finish to seal a 3-1 win over Third tyer outfit, Africa All Stars and register his first goal for City ever since joining the Limpopo based side in January.

The Rise and Shine forward Puleng Tloane opened the scoreline in the first half before Zambian international, Salulani Phiri scored the second for City in the 72nd minutes.Young Musona then extended the tally to 3-nil in the 86th minutes with a composed finish, much to the delight of his coach Luc Eymael.

Africa All Stars scored a consolation in the last minute of the game after awarded a penalty to end the match on a 3-1 victory to City.

The Limpopo based side will now face Mamelodi Sundowns in the next round of Nedbank Cup.
