Bayern Munich Clinch Fifth Consecutive Bundesliga Title

Germany Champions, Bayern Munich secured a record-breaking fifth Bundesliga title in a row after thumping VfL Wolfsburg 6-nil on Saturday 29 April 2017.

Robert Lewandowski scored a brace to lead the Bavarians to their 27th league title topping the Bundasliga goal scoring charts with 28 goals. David Alaba, Thomas Mueller, Arjen Robben and Joshua Kimmich were also on target as Bayern humiliate Wolfsburg who were playing at home.

Bayern went into the match needing to win after going five matches in all competition without a win - a Champions League exit to Real Madrid last week Tuesday, midweek semi-final German Cup defeat to Borrussia Dortmund and their last two league fixtures.

The Bavarians clinched the log with 73 points from 31 matches - a ten points gape ahead of second placed RB Leipzig with 63 points.
