Matthew Rusike On Song As Club Africain Registered Another Emphatic Win In Confederations Cup

Tunisia- based Warriors forward Matthew Rusike was on target again as Club Africain F.C registered a 4-2 CAF Confederations Cup preliminary round second leg win against Mauritius' AS Port Louis F.C on Saturday 15 April at Stade Rhades in Tunisia.

The 26-year-old former Kaizer Chiefs and Helsingborg IF hit the back of the net in the 36th minutes to extend Club Africain's lead to 2-nil  after Saber Khalifa's opening goal in the first 7 minutes of the match.

Club Africain increased the scoreline to 4-nil before the break through Ali Abdi and Ghazi Ayadi' 38th and 39th minute goals respectively. 

ASPL came back in the second half scoring two consecutive goals including a penalty in the 76th and 77th minutes to reduce the damage and end the match on a 4-2 win for Club Africain (6-3 on aggregate).

Matthew Rusike has become an instant hit ever since joining Club Africain in January 2017, scoring 5 goals for the club in all competition.
