Zimbabwe And Former Mamelodi Sundowns Forward Joins The Great Trek To Tanzania

Former Supersport United and Mamelodi Sundowns forward, Simbarashe Nhivi has joined the long list of Zimbabwean players plying their trade in the lucrative Tanzanian league after signing a two year contract with Singida United.

Festo Sanga, chairperson of the registration committee of the club confirmed the signing of former South Africa premier league star from Caps United F.C were the striker was now based after an unsuccessful stinct in SA.

"We have a two year contract with the player from Caps United, who once played for Supersport United and Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa", said Sanga

The 26-year-old Nhivi who is mostly remembered for his Mamelodi Sundowns goal that knocked out TP Mazembe out of last season's Champions League, joins Tafadzwa Kutinyu, Elisha Muroiwa and Wisdom Mutasa who are also signed to the new and ambitious premier league side, Singida United.
