Edmore Chirambadare Is The Most Improved Player At Kaizer Chiefs!

Zimbabwe international and Kaizer Chiefs forward, Edmore Chirambadare has been named as 'the most improved player of the season' at the club's annual awards ceremony held in Kyalami, Johannesburg on Thursday June 1st.

The 25-year-old former Chicken Inn star, pocketed a cool R30k plus a Medshield gong for his performances in 2016/17 premier league season at Amakhosi.

Although the Gweru- born dribbling wizard struggled to find the back of the net in his first season at Naturena, his commitment and industriousness on the pitch earned him a place in coach Steve Kompela's heart - featuring in 22 games, 18 starts, substituted twice and sits on the bench only two times this season.

Siphiwe Tshabalala was the big winner of the night as he received the Player of the Season and the club's top goal scorer award with 8 goals. The Player’s Player of the Year award went to Ramahlwe Mphahlele.

Chirambadare is contracted to Kaizer Chiefs until 2019 and looks to have a much more improved 2017/18 season with scoring goals being top of his priority list.
