Zim Teens Lead Burnley Under-18s To Cup Final

England-born Zimbabwean teenage stars, Kwazinkosi Mpofu and Terry Mupariwa were on target as Burnley under-18 side beat Turkish outfit Altinordu 4-1 on penalty shootout to book their place in Generali Cee Cup final in the Czech Republic.

Born to Zimbabwean parents, 16-year-od midfielder, Terry Mupariwa who is on his first year with The Clarets academy, converted Burnley's third penalty to put the team ahead in penalty shootout against Altinordu f.c  after a 1-all draw in the regulated time. Dylon Allan-Meredith and Jordan Cropper scored the first two penalties for Burnley.

Kwazinkosi Mpofu, another 16-year-old England-born Zimbabwean defender who is in his second year with the Burnely academy scored the fourth, clinching penalty to propel the Clarets into the final of a 12-team youth tournament hosted in Prague, Czech Republic.

The Clarets will play fellow English premier league side Everton in the final match of the Generali Cee Cup - dubbed 'The Battle Of Britain',  on Wednesday 26 July and the match will be televised live in the Czech Republic.
