Kaitano Tembo Awarded At Supersport United

Former Zimbabwe Warriors defender and current Supersport United F.C assistant-coach, Kaitano Tembo was awarded with Supersport United's 'Thomas Madigage' award at the club's annual awards ceremony on Monday night.

Tembo, a former Supersport United player, received the award which is given to an individual who has contributed immensely to the success of the team in the season that ended, after his outstanding work this season that saw Supersport United crowned Nedbank Cup winners and finished fifth on the log.

Tembo who joined Supersport United technical team in 2006 after retiring as a player, took the reigns briefly at Supersport United in early June after the unavailability of then coach Stuart Baxter and drew 2-all away in Lubumbashi against giants TP Mazembe in CAF Confederations cup match and was instrumental in the Nedbank Cup competition as Baxter was juggling between Supersport United and Bafana Bafana responsibilities.

Morgan Gould scooped the biggest prize of the night as he was awarded with the coveted Player of the Season award.
