Zim Starlet Delighted With The Experience Of Playing EPL Side Crystal Palace Despite Cup Exit

Harare-born and England based starlet, Tristan Nydam believes he will be richer for the experience following Ipswich Town's 2-1 defeat at English premier league side, Crystal Palace in Carabao Cup exit on Tuesday night.

The 17-year-old academy graduate midfielder, who was thrust on the left-back position against Crystal Palace in the second round of the Carabao Cup, is proud to have been part of the first team despite losing 2-1 to a Premier League side.

"I'm absolutely knackered but I thought the boys done really well tonight," said Nydam after the game.

"I think we did ourselves and the Club proud.

"It was great for me, personally to play at a Premier League ground, and for the other lads too so we've just got to use that for the rest of the season.

"We thought we'd give them a game but to only lose 2-1 to a Premier League side shows how well the boys have done."

Nydam, who is eligible to play for Zimbabwe-Warriors at International level has a huge future lying ahead of him after being included in the first team squad this season at the Tractor boys.
