Katsande Leads Kaizer Chiefs To A 6th Macufe Title!!

      

Zimbabwe and Kaizer Chiefs work-horse midfielder, Willard Katsande led Amakhosi to a 6th Sparta Macufe title equalling rivals Bloemfontein Celtics' title record in a massively attended encounter winning 4-2 to Siwelele on Sunday afternoon.

The 31-year-old ever impressive midfielder, captained Kaizer Chiefs in the Mangaung African Cultural Festival Cup in the absence of Itumelang Khune and Siphiwe Tshabalala who share the captaincy at Amakhosi.

Amakhosi lifted the Cup for the second consecutive year running courtesy of goals by Dumisani Zuma, Siyabonga Ngezana, Bernard Parker and Ryan Moon while Victor Letsoalo scored Celtics' two goals.

Katsande is Kaizer Chiefs' in line captain after he was appointed club captain last season. Khune and Tshabalala remain the senior guys at Amakhosi.
