Macauley Bonne Bangs His Eighth Goal Of The Season To Help Leyton Orient Earn Away Point

Zimbabwe-Warriors prospect, Macauley Bonne bangs his eighth goal of the season for struggling Leyton Orient as they scrap a point away to Wrexham AFC in a 2- all draw on Saturday.

The 22-year-old forward who was born in England to a Zimbabwean parent, scored in the 23rd minute to cancel Chris Holroyd's header in the opening minute of the game to draw 1-1 in the first half.

The second half saw Wrexham grabbing their second goal of the match through Holroyd to complete his brace and restore their lead, but Leyton Orient came back again in the 85th minute to force a 2-all draw in North Wales.

Bonne now has eight goals in 18 league appearances for Leyton Orient who seem to be struggling, rooted 19th on the Engish National League log table with 19 points from 18 matches so far this season.

The striker has been rumored with a move to Engish League One side, Peterborough United who showed interest in signing the former Colchester United forward in summer transfer after an impressive start at Orient.
