Prince Dube Made His First Competitive Appearance For Supersport United In Gauteng Cup

Zimbabwe and former Highlanders youngster, Prince Dube made his first ever competitive appearance for Supersport United's first team during the team's participation in the third edition of the Gauteng Champions of Champions cup on Saturday afternoon.

The 20-year old forward who joined Supersport United in July prior to the start of the 2017/18 season after an impressive performance in the COSAFA Castle Cup 2017 tournament, made his first team bow in Matsatsantsa's second match of the day against Bidvest Wits after coming on as substitute.

Supersport United lost their first match 2-1 against Jomo Cosmos on dribble- out after a nil-all draw in the normal time before losing again 0-1 to Bidvest Wits in their second match of the day as they bow out of the one day competition which was eventually won by Bidvest Wits.

Dube who is also registered in the club's CAF Champions League squad, will be looking to work his way up to have a permanent place in the first team after beginning his Supersport United career at the club's reserve league - the Multi-Choice Disk Challenge.
