Zimbabwe And Former Ajax Cape Town Youngster Joins Golden Arrows

Zimbabwe Under-23 international and ex-Ajax Cape Town player, Thomas Chideu has joined Durban side, Golden Arrows a month after consensually terminated his contract with the Urban Warriors.

The 20-year old former Highlanders forward, was unveiled as a Golden Arrows player on Tuesday after impressing on his trial period at Abafana Bes'thende. The club announced the youngster's arrival on their twitter page.

"Another prolific striker! We would like to welcome Thomas Chideu to the family," twitted the club.

Chideu left Ajax Cape Town at the end of August 2017 after complaining lack of game-time at the Urban Warriors and was aiming to re-orientate his career with any club back in Zimbabwe before Golden Arrows invited him for trials.

The young prolific forward joins, Knox Mutizwa and Kuda Mahachi - the other two Zimbabwean stars at Abafana Bes'thende stable.
