BBC African Footballer Of The Year 2017 Shortlist Revealed

The British Broadcast Corporation World Services has released this year's five-man shortlist for the BBC African Footballer Of The Year 2017 award on Saturday night.

The five-man shortlist of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Naby Keita, Sadio Mane, Victor Moses and Mohamed Salah has been revealed during a special live launch broadcast in London.

The winner who will be decided by BBC Radio listeners votes, will be announced on the 11th of December 2017.

Liverpool bound Naby Keita and Egyptian star Mahomed Salah were included in the five-man shortlist for the first time while Moses got his second nomination alongside Mane and Aubameyang who were nominated for the third and fifth consecutive time respectively.

The reigning BBC Footballer Of The Year 2016 Champion, Riyad Mahrez miss out in this year's finalist.
