Zim Warriors Technical Team Impressed By British-based Debutantes Despite Loss To Lesotho!


Zimbabwe-Warriors team manager, Wellington Mupandare together with coaches, Wilson Mutekede and Lloyd Mutasa were impressed by the performances of senior national team debuntantes, Tendayi Darikwa, Kundai Benyu, Macauley Bonne and Admiral Muskwe despite their 1-0 loss In the additional time, to Lesotho on Wednesday night.

Zimbabwe-Warriors got punished in the last minute of additional time after failing to convert numourous chances in the first half as Lesotho took the game by surprise to win 1-0 in the 90+ 4 minutes.

Speaking to Zimbabwe's Herald newspaper, Warriors manager, Wellington Mupandare praised the British-based quartet's performances and beleived they will add much value to the team going forward.

“The new boys, given this was their first game for the team, showed a lot of promise and they could be very good additions for the main team,’’ said Mupandare.
"Most of the focus was on what these new players could add to the team and the coaches were convinced that they can bring in something different going forward." 
Tendayi Darikwa, Kundai Benyu and Macauley Bonne, all started the match, with only Kundai Benyu substituted in the 75th minute for Chakoroma.

Admiral Muskwe was later introduced in the 81st Minutes for Tendai Ndoro to mark his Senior Warriors debut at only 19-years of age - so as Benyu.

Zimbabwe-Warriors' next match is on the 11th of November away to Namibia to complete their two international friendlies.
