Bhekithemba Ndlovu Announces Warriors Under-20 Squad For COSAFA Championship!

Zimbabwe Warriors Under-20 coach, Bekhithemba Ndlovu has announced his 20-member squad to represent Zimbabwe in the forthcoming COSAFA Under-20 Championship in Zambia starting on the 6th to 16th of December 2017.

The former Highlanders defender, Ndlovu, beleive his 20-member squad which include some experienced youngsters like, Highlanders' Bukhosi Ncube, Yadah's Leeroy Mavunga and Hwange's Delic Murimba, will be able to successfully compete at the tournament in Zambia.

“For the days we have been working, we have managed to establish a good team which can stand in Zambia. We have been doing tactical work, they are adapting well to the philosophy and how we want them to play,” said Ndlovu speaking to reporters.

Young Warriors who are six time regional champions, are in the same pool alongside Angola, Lesotho and Namibia. Only a top team in each pool and best runner-up will proceed to the semi-finals.

Zimbabwe will play Lesotho in their opening group match on Thursday 7 December.
