Caps United's Dominic Chungwa Signs For Polokwane City

Zimbabwe Castle Larger Premier Soccer League 2017 Golden boot winner and Caps United forward, Dominic Chungwa has completed his move to South African premiership side, Polokwane City.

The 31-year old centre forward who will be turning 32 in January, reportedly signed a three-year contract with Polokwane based club from Harare giants Caps United.

Chungwa was instrumental for Caps United in the just ended season, scoring 17 goals and making it to the list of Zimbabwe's Best XI players for 2017.

South African soccer magazine, kickoff reported on Friday that Polokwane City are working around the clock to register the Zimbabwean international in time for their  next league encounter on Saturday against Mamelodi Sundowns.

"He is quality striker. He has been scoring a lot of goals in Zimbabwe this season," said the source.

"There were two other teams in the PSL that were interested in him but he opted to sign for Polokwane City."

Chungwa will join, George Chigova and Walter Musona who are also in the books of Polokwane City.
