Evans Rusike Bangs A Brace As Maritzburg United Thrash Baroka F.C!

Evans Rusike got back his scoring boots in style as he score a brace to inspire Maritzburg United to a 3-0 home win to Baroka F.C in a premier league action on Friday night.

The 27-year-old Chitugwiza-born hit-man opened the scoring for the Team of Choice on the half-hour mark to lead 1-0 before the half-time. Rusike grabbed his brace in the 53rd minute to double the lead for Maritzburg United. Siphesihle Ndlovu scored in the third goal in the 66th minute to seal a massive 3-0 win against Baroka at Harry Gwala stadium.

Rusike was later replaced in the 77th minute for Yazid Atouba.

The brace takes Rusike's premier league goals tally for Maritzburg United to four this season in 11 appearances, after scoring a brace in their second league match of the season against Ajax Cape Town in August.

Maritzburg United are now fifth in the PSL log table with 17 points from 12 matches this season.
