Manchester City Set To Take Over Musona's KV Oostende!

Holding company City Football Group, owners of English premier league giants, Manchester City are reportedly concluding talks to buy a stake in Belgian side KV Oostende - home to Zimbabwe skipper Knowledge Musona.

Reports in Belgium media claim that Oostende owner Marc Coucke held talks last week in London with City officials about selling his shares to them.

Belgian businessman, Coucke reportedly approached the City Group after paying more than £70million on December 20 in buying 70% shares of reigning champions Anderlecht in a deal that saw the KV Oostende chairman taking over ownership of the club, thereby contravening Belgian rule that restricts owning several clubs.

Belgian daily Het Nieuwsblad claims talks are almost complete to sell a 50% stake to City with a consortium of local investors holding the other half of the shares.

The deal will open a channel for Kv Oostende players to join the English premier league side. Manchester City is also home to Belgian international duo of Kevin De Bruyne and Vincent Kompany.
