Rodwell Chinyengetere Crowned Zimbabwe Castle Larger Player Of The Year 2017!

FC Platinum's Rodwell Chinyengetere was the center of attention as he scooped the coveted Castle Larger Premier Soccer League Player of the year 2017 award at a glittering ceremony held in Harare on Friday night.

The 29-year-old former Hwange attacker has been very consistent for FC Platinum this season, scoring 9 goals to help FC Platinum clinch the league Championship.
Chinyengetere was crowned 'King' of Zimbabwe football for 2017 beating teammate defender, Kevin Moyo and Dynamos skipper Ocean Mushure who won first and second runner-up respectively.

Caps United's Dominic Chungwa scooped the Golden Boot award after scoring 17 goals this season while FC Platinum coach Norman Mapeza walked away with the coach of the year 2017 award.

Other winners include Chicken Inn's Elvis Chipezeze (Goalkeeper of the year award), Yadah's Leeroy Mavunga (Most Promising Young Player of the year) and Ruzive Ruzive for Refree of the year 2017 award.

Triangle football club were also awarded with the most disciplined team of the year 2017 award, courtesy of coach Taurayi Magwiro who has now won the award for the record 4th time after winning it with Masvingo United, Caps United and Harare City before.
