Rutendo Makore Shines On Sporting De Huelva Debut!

Zimbabwe Mighty-Warriors goal machine, Rutendo Makore made a dream start in the Spanish Liga feminina as she put out an impressive performance and a goal assist in Sporting De Huelva's 2-0 win at home to FundaciĆ³n Albacete on Saturday.

The 25-year-old former Black Rhinos Queens forward who made history last month by becoming the first Zimbabwean woman to sign for a top European club, recorded her first assist for Club De Huelva in the 72nd minute as Lara scored the team's second goal off her deflected shot.

Francisca Lara took advantage of a loose ball inside the box after a strong shot on goal by Rutendo Makore to double the scoreline and seal a 2-0 victory over Albacete. Anita scored De Huelva's first goal in the 68th minute.

It is Sporting De Huelva's first victory after going five games in the league without a win. They are now 10 on the log with 13 points from 11 games.
