Kundai Benyu Set To Join Oldham On Season Long Loan From Celtic

England-born Zimbabwe young sensational midfielder, Kundai Benyu is set to join English League One side, Oldham Athletic F.C on a season long loan from Scottish giants, Celtic F.C in the January transfer window.

The 20-year old former Ipswich Town player, who made his Zimbabwe-Warriors debut in a double friendly international against Lesotho and Namibia in November 2017 respectively, joined Celtic in July after a stellar performance with English National League side Aldershot Town.

Benyu only made four appearances for Celtic first team in all competition so far this season and coach, Brendan Rodgers, who is a big admirer of the youngster believes a loan move would be good for Benyu's development before coming to challenge for a place in the Celtic's star-studded side next season.

According to Football Insider report, Oldham Athletic are reportedly beat off interest from several interested clubs to land the highly rated young midfielder and talks are reportedly on advanced level.

Oldham Athletic participates in English League One - the second highest division in English Football League and the third tier in the English football league system.
