Tatenda Mukuruva Left Cape Town City!

  

Former Zimbabwe number one shot stopper, Tatenda Mukuruva has been released by Absa premiership side, Cape Town City after failing to break into the first team.

The 22-year-old talented goalie joined Cape Town City in February 2017 from Harare giants, Dynamos FC after impressing at the Africa Cup of Nations 2017 with Zimbabwe-Warriors.

South Africa's Soccer Laduma reported yesterday that the Zimbabwean shot stopper could join Zambian side, Buildcon after his contract was terminated at the Cape Town based club.

Mukuruva's contract at Cape Town City was due to expire at the end of next season after he was offered a two year extension in July last year.

The Zimbabwean only made one competitive first team appearance for Cape Town City in a Nedbank cup competition against ABC Motsepe league outfit Acornbush FC during Eric Tinkler's tenure and was yet to receive his debut under new coach Benni McCarthy.
