Thomas Chideu Comes Off The Bench To Score Consolation For Golden Arrows!

Zimbabwe and former Ajax Cape Town youngster, Thomas Chideu came off the bench to score a consolation goal for Golden Arrows as they lost 2-1 to Bloemfontein Celtics in the Absa premiership on Sunday.

The 21-year old Zimbabwe Under 23 forward scored in the 69th minute after coming on as a substitute in the 62nd minute for Lamola to reduce the 2-0 deficit by Bloemfontein Celtics who went to half time leading courtesy of Letsoala and Hotto goals in the 29th and 45th minutes respectively.

Fellow Country men, Kuda Mahachi and Knox Mutizwa started the match for Arrows with the latter giving assist to Chideu's goal. Ronald Pfumbidzai who has since establish himself as a regular first team player at Bloemfontein Celtics also started the match.

Chideu who left Ajax Cape Town in August 2017 in search of regular game time, signed for Abafana Bes'thende at the beginning of October last year and has now scored 2 goals in five premier league matches for Arrows so far this season.
