Welsh-based Zimbabwe youngster, Alec Mudimu is set for Europa League debut next season after his side, Cefn Druids drew 0-0 against rivals Llandudno to secure a top 6 spot in the Welsh Premier League table during the weekend.

The 22-year-old central midfielder who was born in England to Zimbabwean parents, had an outstanding season since joining Druids from Stalybridge Celtic in July 2017.

The Zimbabwean youngster has featured in 17 league matches for Cefn Druids this season with 2 goals to his name and has been on the radar of several English Football League teams including Fleetwood, where Mudimu impressed during his one week trial period towards the end of December.

Cefn Druids' qualification in the top six spot this season will remain memorable to their fans as it was their best finish ever in the top flight league.

It is to be seen wether Mudimu will choose to remain at Cefn Druids to play Europa League next season or he will choose a meteoric rise from Welsh premier league football to English Football league.
