Can FC Platinum Walk On Water?

One of the most famous and enduring miracle of all time comes from Jesus of Nazareth, about 2,000 years ago when he did the unbelievable - the epic feat of walking over water - I'm not trying to compare anyone to JESUS CHRIST though, forgive me if it comes out that way, in fact the phrase 'walking on water' is basically a synonym for miracle.

Zimbabwe Premier League Champions, FC Platinum needs to pull off such a classic stunt as they face the unenviable task of overturning the 3-0 deficit from the first leg against Angola's Clube Desportivo Primero de Agosto in the CAF Champions league preliminary rounds second leg on Wednesday at Mandava stadium.

FC Platinum are leaning against the ropes and requires not only a win, but a BIG win to save them from an early exit from Africa's inter club competition on the hands of Angola's nine times Champions CD Primero de Agosto after a disastrous first leg in Luanda two weeks ago.

Zvishavane's boys need 4 goals without a reply to proceed from the preliminary round of the competition, this means Mapeza will have to come up with an all out attacking formula that will be too handful for the Angolans to think of coming forward.

CD Primero Agosto have the advantage and choices to sit back or attack in this match, but Mapeza's boys who are not known for scoring more than four goals in a match will have no other option but to attack all the way.

FC Platinum beleives it can be done. Assistant coach Patrick Mandizha is optimistic to a positive result can be achieved.

"When we went to Angola we did not know much about our opponent, but this time around we are confident that we are better prepared for the game and the guys are raring to go", said the confident Mandizha.

Zvishavane boys will have to utilise the home advantage effectively if they are to pull out this miracle. 3pm at Mandava, Go support our boys.
