Saturday RoundUp: Evans Rusike, Bonne & Mutizwa On Target!

Zimbabwe internationals had another great Saturday as Evans Rusike, Macauley Bonne and Knox Mutizwa found the back of the net for their respective clubs on Saturday.

Supersport United's new acquittance, Evans Rusike did not take much time to open his goal scoring account at Matsatsantsa. After making a 'rushed debut' in 1-0 loss to Amazulu on Wednesday, Rusike scored Supersport United's second goal in his second appearance for the team in a massive 4-2 win at home to Bloemfontein Celtics.

It is Evans Rusike's 8th premier league goal this season after scoring seven goals in 17 appearances for Maritzburg United before he moved to Matsatsantsa aPitoli on the last day of January transfer window.

Whenever Macauley Bonne is drafted into matchday squad at Orient, It has become a habit for the 22-year-old Zimbabwean forward to score regularly for the team. Saturday was no difference as Bonne find the back of the net in the 48th minute to double the scores for Orient in a nail biting 3-4 win at Dover Athletic , FA trophy third round matches.
Bonne has now scored 18 goals in 30 appearances for Leyton Orient in all competitions this season.

Another Zimbabwean international who hit the target on Saturday, is Knox Mutizwa, the 24-year-old former Highlanders forward is entrenching himself as one of regular goal scorers at Golden Arrows.

Mutizwa opened the scoring for Abafana Bes'thende in the 51st minute before the wheels came off to lose the match 2-1 away to Amazulu in a thrilling KwaZulu Natal Derby at Moses Mabhida stadium.

Mutizwa has now scored five premier league goals for Arrows so far this season and has made 11 starts in 20 appearances.

On Friday, British-born and Zimbabwe's sole representative in the Welsh premier league, 22-year-old Alec Mudimu,  scored in Cefn Druids AFC's first match for 2018, as the team register a 2-2 draw at home to The New Saints in the second phase of the league.
