Walter Musona's Second Half Strike Secures A Draw For Polokwane City!


Zimbabwe and Polokwane City youngster, Water Musona has everything needed to become a major hit in the Absa premiership - just like his elder brother Knowledge - if he continue developing the way he is doing at Polokwane City.

The 22-year-old former FC Platinum star, was in handy as The Rise And Shine boys draw 1-all at home to Ajax Cape Town in a premier league match at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.

Musona opened the scoring in the 69th minute with a brilliant shot from the edge of the box to give City the lead before Ajax Cape Town replied in the 81st minute to level the scoreline.

The match also featured Dominic Chungwa who came in the 64th minute for Mohammad Sulumba and George Chigova who was in goals for City.

Another Zimbawean international, Gerald Takwara was introduced in the 70th minute for Ajax Cape Town as he came in for Grant Margeman to mark his return from a red card suspension.

Musona who also received the man of the match award, has now scored five goals in 16 league appearances fo Polokwane City so far this season.
