Alec Mudimu Scores Cefn Druids' Only Goal As They Fall 2-1 To CQ Nomads

Welsh-based Zimbabwe rising midfielder, Alec Mudimu continue to make a name for himself in the Welsh top flight league as he scored again, but this time to a lost cause as Newi Cefn Druids were edged 2-1 away to Connah's Quay Nomads in a premier league match on Saturday.

The 22-year old England-born youngster, opened the scoring in the 16th minute to put Druids ahead in the first half of the match before the wheels came off in the second half to lose the match 2-1 to Quay Nomads who were reduced to 9-men in the second half after two red cards.

Mudimu, who is born to Zimbabwean parents is eligible to represent the Warriors and if he continue working hard, its just a matter of time before he receive his first national team call up.

He has now scored six premier league goals in 22 appearances for Druids this season and has been a vital cog in the team's recent success in the league.
