Chicken Inn Goalie Elvis Chipezeze Signs For Baroka!

Zimbabwe's Chicken Inn goalkeeper, Elvis Chipezeze has signed a three year deal with South Africa Premier League side, Baroka F.C to replace Oscarine Masuluke who parted ways with the club.

The 28-year-old athletic goalkeeper will join the Limpopo based club in the 2018/19 season which begins in August after signing a pre-contract with the club.

Baroka CEO, Morgan Mamilla confirmed the news to South Africa' KickOff.com.

"We have signed the goalkeeper. It's a three year deal, " said Mamilla.

"He will join us in the 2018/19 season," he said.

Chipezeze who is inspired by Real Madrid's Casilas, is one of Zimbabwe's top goalies having won several acolades with Chicken Inn including the premier league's goalkeeper of the year award in 2015 and was in the Warriors squad that drew 1-1 with Guinea in 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Harare.

Baroka is also home to Zimbabwe's talented winger Talent Chawapiwa and Chipezeze is expected to command first team jersey at the club next season after the dismissal of the former FIFA Puskas Award finalist, Oscarine Masuluke for allegedly misconduct.
