Rutendo Makore Scores Against Barcelona To Help Sporting De Huelva Drew 1-1 In Division Femenina!

Zimbabwe's Mighty-Warriors shining star, Rutendo Makore scored Sporting De Huelva's only goal of the match as they drew 1-1 against giants Barcelona in Spanish's Primera Division Femenina on Sunday.

The 25-year-old former Black Rhinos Queens forward was the star of the night as she struck in the 48 minutes to put Sporting De Huelva ahead before Barcelona equalised in the 61minutes through Toni Duggan to force a draw.

Though Sporting Huelva did not collect maximum points at home, Makore was happy to score again against giants Barcelona after scoring a brace against other Spanish Division Femenina giants Atletico Madrid late last month.

"Although we get a point, but i am happy with the way we played", said Makore soon after the match.

Barcelona is a big team but we managed to hold them to a draw, so we are happy."

I feel happy for my achievements so far, playing against Atletico Madrid I scored two, against Barcelona i scored one, they are big teams so i am happy to have scored against them," said Makore.

Now we have to work hard to correct our mistakes so that we can win the next match," said the Warriors forward.

Sporting De Huelva will play Zaragoza away from home in their next encounter next weekend.
