Tinotenda Kadewere Sets Djurgardens IF On Way To Swedish Cup Semis

Swedish giants Djurgardens IF dispatched  BK Häcken 1-0 to reach the Swedish Cup semi-finals on Monday night after young Zimbabwean forward, Tinotenda Kadewere set them on their way with a beautiful goal as the team celebrated their 127th birthday.

The 22-year-old former Harare City forward, coolly placed the ball into the back of the net after a good ball from Kerim Mrabti in the 76th minute,  to edge BK Häcken 1-0 and progress to the semi finals of the Swedish Cup.

Kadewere has been phenomenal ever since the beginning of the Swedish Cup competition which marked the beginning of 2018/19 Swedish football season.

The warriors young striker has now scored  3 goals in 4 appearances in the Swedish cup competition so far.

Djurgardens, who were also celebrating 127 years of existence on Monday, received an ideal birthday present as they book a semifinal spot in the Svenskan Cupen without losing a game and will meet the winner between AIK Vs Orebro match on Tuesday.

The semifinals will be played from 17- 18 March 2018 and the date for the finals will be announced.
