Zimbabwe's Foreign-Based Players Flew Direct To Zambia Ahead Of Four Nations Tournament!

Zimbabwe-Warriors' foreign-based players who were selected to take part in Zambia's Four Nations tournament took direct flights to Zambia yesterday with all the European-based contigent expected in Ndola today ahead of their opening semi-final match against the host nation on Thursday.

South African-based Warriors of Edmore Sibanda, George Chigova, Teenage Hadebe, Talent Chawapiwa, Butholezwe Ncube, Nyasha Munetsi, Evans Rusike and Ovidy Karuru left Johannesburg for Zambia yesterday where they met up with home-based players of Praise Tonha, Devine Lunga, Takabva Mawaya and Jimmy Dzingai who also arrived in Zambia yesterday.

The European-based contingent of Costa Nhamoinesu, Marvellous Nakamba, Adam Chicksen, Cliff Moyo, Alec Mudimu and Silas Songani are expected to arrive in Zambia today, together with Egyptian-based Abbas Amidu.

Zimbabwe-Warriors coach, Sunday Chidzambwa will have two days to train with his full squad in Ndola before he picks up his first eleven to battle against Zambia's Chipolopolo on Thursday at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in a double header encounter where South Africa will also take on Angola in another semi-final battle.

New British-based trio of Adam Chicksen, Alec Mudimu and Cliff Moyo are expected to get their Warriors debut during the tournament. Costa Nhamoinesu will captain the Warriors in the absence of skipper Knowledge Musona.
