Zimbabwe international prolific goal scorer, Macauley Bonne's remarkable year at Leyton Orient has been recognised after the forward was nominated for the club's Player of the Year and the club's goal of the season 2017/18 awards.

The 22-year-old Warriors forward, who is being tracked by English Football League teams, is favourite to scoop the club's most coveted accolade after being instrumental for Leyton Orient this season, scoring 20 goals in 40 appearances.

Bonne has been nominated alongside wingers Jobi McAnuff and James Dayton, defenders Josh Coulson and Joe Widdowson for the Player of the Year award.

In the goal of the season category, the Zimbabwean's two goals are among the eight beautful goals shortlisted for the club's Goal of the season.

A cheeky flick-on header against Maidenhead in August and a wonderful long range strike away from home at Dover Athletic are Bonne's two goals in the list of Leyton Orient's Goal of the season.

Winners of these categories will be decided by a fan vote which is open on the club's website. Voting will be closed at 12pm on Tuesday before the presentation of the awards later on the same day.

Other categories to be presented include, Captain's Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season and Youth Team Player of the Season.
