Pitso Mosimane Bids Farewell To Khama Billiat!

Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane has bidden farewell to outgoing Zimbabwean marksman, Khama Billiat after Masandawana were confirmed Absa premiership Champions for the record eighth time.

The 27-year-old Zimbabwean, whose contract with the former African Champions expires in the coming month, is leaving Sundowns as a free agent after completing five years with the club.

Mosimane applauded Billiat's contribution at the club and accepted that it is his time to move on as a player.

"It's good for a player like Khama to win his last Championship with us and give him a farewell," Mosimane told The Sowetan.

He has contributed and its good for him to leave on a high note."

Billiat, who joined Mamelodi Sundowns from Ajax Cape Town in 2013, has won 1× Nedbank Cup, 1× Telkom Knockout Cup, 3× Absa premiership titles, 1× CAF Champions League Cup, 1×CAF Super Cup in his five year-period at the club.

The former Black Aces Academy player, who is likely to move to Belgium in the next season has scored eight goals in 16 league appearances for Mamelodi Sundowns this season.
