Knowledge Musona Left Out As Warriors Final Squad Announced!

Zimbabwe Warriors coach, Sunday Chidzambwa has announced his 20-men squad to participate in the 2018 COSAFA Cup tournament in South Africa, excluding Belgian based Anderlecht new signing, Knowledge Musona who was expected to lead Warriors charges in defending the cup.

Coach Sunday Chidzambwa had to tinker and tailor with his squad again after most of his charges that he had initially named in his provisional squad failed to make the final squad due to various reasons.

The 27-year-old skipper, Knowledge Musona will no longer take part at the tournament after reportedly failed to make it into camp in time for final preparations.

Ngezi Platinum star, Terrence Dzvukamanja and Chapungu goalkeeper Talbert Shumba were drafted in to fill up the squad that will take part in this year's Cosafa cup.

Zimbabwe Warriors will begin their campaign on the 3rd of June against the winners of Group B which constist of Angola, Botswana, Mauritius and Malawi.
