Nyasha Mushekwi Inspires Dalian Yifang To Their First Chinese Super League Win!

The recent introduction of Nyasha Mushekwi to Dalian Yifang first team in the Chinese Super League is starting to pay off for the newly promoted Wanda group owned side as they register their first win on Saturday ever since promoted to the top flight league, courtesy of the Zimbabwean international.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Swedish top side Djurgardens IF marksman, Mushekwi (30) opened the scoring for Yifang in the first 24 minutes of the game after a brilliant assist by Nicolás Gaitán before winning a penalty in the 43rd minute which Yannick Carrasco converted to go to half time leading 2-0 at home to Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao.

Jinxian Wang scored in the 87th minute to complete a 3-0 win for Dalian Yifang and register their first win in the Chinese Super League.

Mushekwi has so far played three consecutive Super League matches for Yifang, drawing one, losing one and also winning one with a contribution of two assists and a goal to his name.

Yifang are currently seating second from bottom on the Chinese Super League log table with 6 points from 9 matches played so far.
