Warriors Resume Camp Ahead Of COSAFA Cup!

Zimbabwe senior national football team, the Warriors have resumed camping ahead of the COSAFA cup tournament which kick start on Sunday 27 May in Polokwane, South Africa.

The Warriors who are this year's defending Champions will play their first match on the 3rd of June in the quarter final stages against winners from group B which consists of Angola, Botswana, Mauritius and Malawi.

Zimbabwe Warriors coach, Sunday Chidzambwa has called 33-players in camp, but he began praparations with only 15 players reporting for camp on the first day of training yesterday at Yadah complex.

The new British based quartet of Adam Chicksen, Kundai Benyu, Macauley Bonne and Tendayi Darikwa have been ruled out of the tournament due to delay in securing their Zimbabwe passports.

Among those that arrived for camping yesterday only Cefn Druids midfielder, Alec Mudimu was the notable player from the new Europe based players who were called in camp.

The rest of the team is expected in camp today.
