COSAFA CUP: Here Is How Zimbabwe Warriors Could Line Up Against Botswana!

Zimbabwe Warriors will begin defending their Cosafa Cup Championship with a tricky Quarter final encounter against Botswana at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday evening.

Sunday Chidzambwa knows the huge task at hand, and will take Botswana for no push overs having last beat the Zebras a decade ago, in August 2008 winning by a goal to nil in a friendly international.

At Cosafa cup, Botswana are doing so well having booked a quarter final spot after beating Mauritius 6-0 to finish Group B on top with 6 points.

However Chidzambwa has enough arsenal on his disposal to stand the challenge.
Having named Ovidy Karuru as the captain for this campaign, the coach is likely to lineup a stronger side against Botswana.

The central defence could be marshalled by new boy Alec Mudimu and Kelvin Moyo with Divine Lunga and James Mukombwe occupying the left and right flanks respectively in a 4-3-3 formation.

Khama Billiat, Nyasha Munetsi and Ovidy Karuru could be started in the midfield with Karuru and Billiat operating on the wide areas.

The striking force role could be assigned to in-form Djurgardens forward, Tinotenda Kadewere and Supersport United's Evans Rusike and Chawapiwa from the right.
