Mid-Week Action Round Up Featuring Evans Rusike First Goal Of The Season & British Based Forward Shephered Murombedzi's Brace For Brackley Town!

Mid-Week Action:From Left to Right- Evans Rusike ,Shephered Murombedzi On Target for their respective clubs and Macauley Bonne's Orient drew in their 2nd match.
Some of Zimbabwe's foreign based players were involved in the mid-week action in different leagues across the world. Below is a brief update of all the players who took part in  their respective clubs mid week encounters.
  • Tuesday saw Khama Billiat and Willard Katsande returning to action all playing full game for Kaizer Chiefs as they suffer a 3-1 loss at home to Bidvest Wits- boosted of former Ngezi Platinum attacking midfielder, Terrence Dzvukamanja who contributed with a goal plus assist as he opens his scoring account for the Clever Boys. Billiat gave an assist to Kaizer Chiefs's consolation goal.
  • In Polokwane on the same day,George Chigova and Walter Tatenda Musona were in action for a losing cause as they suffer a 0-2 defeat at home to Mamelodi Sundowns. Musona came on in as a substitute in the 62nd minutes for Mbulelo Wagaba.
  • In England, Macauley Bonne returned to action for Leyton Orient playing full game as team drew 1-1 at home to Ebbsfleet United. 
  • Tendayi Darikwa also played full game for Nottigham Forest drawing 1-1 at home to West Bromwich Albion.
  • Hot property 23-year-old British-based Shephered Murombedzi pulled a man of the match perfomance for Brackley Town who participate in the English National League North scoring a brace as they beat Alfreton Town 3-1 on Tuesday.
  • Wednesday was no short of action either, Tanzanian based defender, Elisha Muroiwa played full game for Singida United drawing 1-1 at home to Kagera Sugar.
  • In Mzansi Absa premiership, Talent Chawapiwa played full game for Baroka as they beat Cape Town City 2-1 . Matthew Rusike started for City and played 90 Minutes.
  • Evans Rusike scored his first premier league goal of the season for Supersport United, helping Kaitano Tembo register his first league match win as head coach of Supersport United beating Amazulu 1-0. 
  • Divine Lunga, Danny Phiri and Knox Mtizwa all played full game as Golden Arrows fall 2-0 to Ronald Pfumbidzai's Bloemfontein Celtic.
  • Kudakwashe Mahachi was introduced in the 65th minutes as Orlando Pirates beat Chippa United 1-0.
