Walter Musona Opens His Absa Premier League Goal Account For The Season As Polokwane City Register First Win At Home To Baroka!

Zimbabwe international forward Walter Musona opened his goal scoring account for the season at Polokwane City as he led them to their first Absa premiership win this season at the expense of rivals and Talent Chawapiwa's Baroka F.C beating them 2-0 at home on Saturday afternoon.

The 22-year-old former FC Platinum star, who scored 6 premier league goals in 23 appearances for Polokwane City last season opened the scoring in the first 36th minutes to lead City 1-0 before Jabulani Maluleka added the second in the 70th minutes to complete a 2-0 win at home to Baroka.

Musona was later substituted in the 81st minutes for Bongile Booi, but a win was already guaranteed for City.

It is Musona's first premier league goal in his third league appearance for Polokwane City this season, earning their first three points in three matches they have played so far. They are currently 10th on the Absa premiership log.
