All Set For Congo Brazzaville Tie!

Zimbabwe Warriors are ready and raring to go after making their final arrangements to travel to Brazzaville on Friday afternoon for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match against Congo scheduled for Sunday.

Coach Sunday Chidzambga made his final preparations on Thursady afternoon announcing his final 18-member squad to travel to Congo on Friday afternoon, where they will fly via Ethiopia before arriving in Brazzaville on Saturday morning.

"The team will travel tomorrow around 1:30pm from Harare International Airport to Ethiopia where we will arrive around 8:30pm in the evening," said Warriors manager Wellington Mpandare speaking to

"We will sleep over in Ethiopia and leave in the morning around 08:00am and arrive in Congo at about 11:00 then we get feel of the pitch at around 3:00pm in the afternoon before the game on Sunday afternoon," said Mpandare.

Chidzambga had to sacrifice goalkeepers Talbert Shumba (Chapungu) and Donovan Bernard (Ngezi), defender Byron Madzokere (Yadah), midfielders Richard Hachiro (Herentials) and Liberty Chakoroma (Ngezi) and Bidvest Wits forward Terrence Dzvukamanja from his 24-member squad to remain with only 18-players to travel to Congo.
