Butholezwe Ncube Delighted To Score His First League Goal Of The Season Against Mamelodi Sundowns!

Zimbabwe and Amazulu midfield kingpin, Butholezwe Ncube Scored his first goal of the season for Amazulu against Mamelodi Sundowns over the weekend.
Zimbabwe and Amazulu defensive midfileder, Butholezwe Ncube is excited to have got  his first league goal of the season for Amazulu in their thrilling 3-3 draw at home to former African Champions, Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday night.

The 26-year-old former Tsholotsho FC midfielder broke his goal duck at Amazulu against non other than reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

Ncube opened the scoring for Amazulu in the first 5' minutes of the match after neatly dispossessing former Kv Oostende and Sundowns midfielder Andile Jali to drive home from 24-yards out and give Usuthu the lead.

Amazulu went ahead twice during the match but eventually settled for a draw after Sundowns got an equaliser in the dying minutes of the game to force a 3-all draw.

Speaking to, Ncube expressed his excitement in scoring his first league goal for Usuthu against Masandawana.

"It could not have come at a better time. Sundowns is a big team and i am so happy to have scored my first goal against a big team," said Ncube.

"I pray to God to bless me with more goals this season, keep improving and help my team achieve big things."

The hardworking defensive midfielder received his first Zimbabwe international call up in May 2018 during the Four Nations tournament in Zambia and could be re-called if he continues to enjoy good form.
