How The Warriors Could Line Up Against Congo Brazzaville!

Zimbabwe Warriors' Probable XI against Congo Brazzaville on Sunday 9th September.

Zimbabwe Warriors will battle against Congo Brazzaville in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier second group G match on Sunday afternoon.

The Warriors will be keen to continue from where they left off last year after beating Liberia 3-0 in Harare to kick start their Africa Cup Of Nations qualifiers on a high.

Coach Sunday Chidzambga had some few changes from the squad that triumphed against Liberia, missing key players like, Marvelous Nakamba, Ovidy Karuru and Costa Nhamoinesu through injuries but believe the players picked in his squad are capable of doing the job in Brazzaville.

Here looks at how the Warriors could shape up for Sunday's encounter.

Chidzambga who is known for his defense precaution, will feel no need to divert from his fluid and dynamic 3-5-2 formation where he is likely to go for the experienced Ronald Pfumbidzai and Eric Chipeta to man left and right wing backs respectfully with tireless Teenage Hadebe to complete the defense line.

Besides not having Marvelous Nakamba in the midfield, Chidzambga is spoilt for choices for the central midfield position where he has experienced Danny Phiri and the young and fresh Nyasha Munetsi, who is currently playing well at Orlando Pirates to anchor the midfield.

Alec Mudimu could provide that extra number in the midfield where he could provide cover if one of the central 3 defenders gets sucked out wide to deal with an attack down the flanks.

As The 3-5-2 dynamic formation provides numbers in central midfield as well as width for midfielders to push high up the flanks, Chidzambga could use the pace and agility of Kudakwashe Mahachi and Talent Chawapihwa to operate in the wide areas with Khama Billiat providing an extra body when the team is in attack.

The attacking force could be spearheaded by skipper Knowledge Musona partnered by Evans Rusike or Luckymore Mkosana who are both scoring goals at their respective clubs.

Here Is Warriors's probable Eleven.

1. George Chigova, 2. Eric Chipeta, 3. Ronald Pfumbidzai, 4. Alec Mudimu, 5. Teenage Hadebe,  6. Nyasha Munetsi, 7. Kuda Mahachi, 8. Talent Chawapihwa, 9. Luckymore Mkosana, 10. Khama Billiat and 11. Knowledge Musona.
