The Zimbabwe Warriors camp have been boosted by the arrival of Chinese based hot-shot Nyasha Mushekwi ahead of the Africa cup of nations qualifier against Congo Brazzavile on the 9th of September.

The 30-year-old star who is currently on a purple patch in the Chinese Super League, scoring 10 goals in 13 appearances for Dalian Yifang, arrived in camp today after initial fears that he could miss the encounter due to a stomach ailment.

Mushekwi was reportedly suffering from digestive tract problems, known in the medical term as (IDS), and was allegedly scheduled for a doctor's appointment in South Africa before he is cleared to join camp.

Mushekwi's arrival is a big boost for injury hit Zimbabwe Warriors who have entered their day two in training  at the giant, National Sports Stadium.

Zimbabwe Warriors tops group G with three points from their first match against Liberia last year and will be looking for a win to guarantee their qualification for Cameroon finals next year, 2019.
