Weekend Action Wrap: Evans Rusike Leads Absa Premiership Top Scorers After Another Goal In Black Leopards Rout, Ovidy Karuru Marks His Return From Injury And Many More!

Evans Rusike had an incredible performance on Sunday as he inspired Supersport United to a big win against new boys Black leopards in the Absa premiership match played at Attridgeville stadium scoring a goal and two assists in his team's 4-0 rout of Black Leopards FC.

The 28-year-old Warriors lanky forward who recently rediscovered his scoring form, scored Supersport United's third goal in the 70'th minutes, having initially assisted Aubrey Modiba with a good cross to score the team's second goal in the first half of the match before giving another assist to James Keene to complete a 4-0 win at home.

Evans Rusike is now leading the Absa premiership top scores with 4 goals from 6 matches for Kaitano Tembo's Supersport United, just a goal ahead of fellow Zimbabwean marksman, Khama Billiat who is on number two with 3 goals alongside Orlando Pirates' Vincent Pule and Bloemfontein Celtic's Tshegofatso Mabaso who are all on 3 goals.

In other matches played over the weekend featuring our foreign based stars, include Saturday's Germany Regionalliga West encounter where our young boy, Kelly Lunga who is also eager to represent his country of origin at international level, was introduced in the 46th minutes for SV Rondinghausen as they drew 1-1 at home to Wattenscheid 09 on Saturday.
