Macauley Bonne Could Be Available For Zimbabwe Warriors' Next Afcon Qualifyer Away To Liberia!

England-born Zimbabwe hot-shot Macauley Bonne could be a big boost ahead of Zimbabwe Warriors' next Africa Cup of nations qualifyer Group G match away to Liberia on the 16th of November.

The 22-years-old in-form Leyton Orient striker, is reportedly in the process of regularizing his papers so he can be available for selection in the last two Africa Cup of nations qualifiers against Liberia and Congo Brazzaville respectively.

Warriors manager, Mr. Wellington Mpandare is hopeful that the English based goal-scoring machine will be available for the next encounter away to Liberia.

“We are also hoping for more good news from England where Macaulay Bonne could be the next player after Darikwa to join Zimbabwe national team," Mr. Mpandare told The Herald.

“I got in touch with him when we were in DRC and he now has his papers in order and what is left is to submit to the relevant authorities to make him eligible for Zimbabwe. The passport office is willing to assist."

Zimbabwe Warriors who will be without new boy Tendayi Darikwa for the trip to Liberia due to suspension after receving two yellow cards in DR Congo's back to back encounters, will be boosted by the availability of Bonne who is currently in fine goal scoring form for Leyton Orient, bagging 10 goals in 16 league matches so far this season.

Besides Bonne, the duo striking force of Evans Rusike and Tinotenda Kadewere who missed in the last encounters due to injuries will also be available for Liberia tie including Alec Mudimu who was on two yellow suspension and skipper Knowledge Musona who will be back after serving a one match suspension for his red card away to DR Congo.

The Warriors will play their final group qualifier on the 22nd of March 2019 at home to Congo Brazzaville, but are hoping to secure qualification on their next match away to Liberia.
