Zimbabwe Warriors Depart For DR Congo!

Zimbabwe Warriors left Harare for Kinshasa on Tuesday evening ahead of their Africa Cup of nations qualifier first leg encounter against the DR Congo scheduled for Saturday 13th October at Stade Des Martyrs located in Kinshasa the capital of Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Coach Sunday Chidzambga departed with only 18 players after dropping Donovan Bernard, Kevin Moyo, Richard Hachiro and Leeroy Mavunga and the injured Divine Lunga from the initial 23-member provisional squad that was picked for DR Congo ties.

The team took off at Robert Mugabe International Airport around 17:45pm on Tuesday evening via South Africa and are scheduled to arrive in DR Congo at 23:00hrs on the same night before the match on Saturday 13th of October, 17:30 local time.

The Warriors are expected to train only two days in the DRC with their first training session scheduled for Wednesday morning.
