Zimbabwe Warriors Re-Group Ahead Of DR Congo Back To Back Ties!

Zimbabwe and Nottigham Forest Defender Tendayi Darikwa arrived in Harare on Monday morning ahead of DR Congo ties.

Zimbabwe Warriors coach, Sunday Chidzambga's 23-man provisional squad for the Africa Cup of nations qualifier back to back encounter against DR Congo on the 13th and 16th October assembled in Harare on Monday ahead of their trip to Kinshasa on Tuesday.

From the initial 23-man squad announced a week ago, 20 players including Nottingham Forest defender Tendayi Darikwa who is expected to make his official international debut against DR Congo, have all reported for camp on Monday morning with only the exception of Begian-based duo of Marvelous Nakamba and Knowledge Musona who are expected on Tuesday morning.

Golden Arrows' in-form defender, Divine Lunga was a late withdrawal from the squad to face DR Congo after picking up an injury in his last game for Golden Arrows against  Black Leopards on Sunday. 

Other Warriors in camp include South African based contingent of Goalkeepers Edmore Sibanda and George Chigova, Kaizer Chiefs star player Khama Billiat, Teenage Hadebe, Ronald Pfumbidzai, Knox Mtizwa, Nyasha Munetsi,Talent Chawapiwa and Terrence Dzvukamanja.

Chidzambga  will have a light training with all his players on Tuesday morning before picking up his 18-man squad to travel to Kinshasa on the same day.
